What Veritome is

Veritome is a software service — a structured toolkit — for tracking, documenting, and preparing your obligations under the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). It gives you a guided method, templates, an obligations engine, an AI assistant (Aria), and exportable records so that you and your advisers can do the compliance work in an organised, evidence-logged way.

What Veritome is not

The word "toolkit" describes a set of tools — not a finished compliance outcome. Completing the work in Veritome is not the same as being legally compliant.

Outputs are informational scaffolding

Everything the Service generates — risk classifications, obligation mappings, completion and readiness metrics, generated documents and dossiers, and Aria responses — is informational scaffolding to assist your work. These Outputs do not constitute legal advice, do not represent a regulatory determination of compliance, and do not establish any safe harbour or defence with any authority, court, or auditor. Before relying on any Output for a regulatory submission, attestation, certification, or material business decision, verify it against current law and obtain qualified professional advice. Aria and AI-generated content

Aria, our in-product assistant, is generated using third-party large language models (currently Mistral, hosted in the EU). Aria responses may contain errors, omissions, hallucinations, or outdated information, and are informational only. Always independently verify any factual or legal claim Aria makes before acting on it. We do not use your content to train foundation models.

“Verified” means integrity, not legality

Where the Service or a public verification page describes a document or record as "integrity-checked", "tamper-evident", or unaltered, this confirms only that the file has not been changed since it was submitted or issued. It does not mean the contents are correct, complete, legally sufficient, or accepted by any authority. Records of training completion are not accredited credentials, and Veritome is not a training accreditation body.

Your responsibilities

You remain solely responsible for:

• determining the correct classification and obligations of your AI systems;
• the accuracy and completeness of the information you enter;
• verifying all generated documentation before any use or submission;
• implementing the actual technical and organisational measures the law requires; and
• engaging qualified legal counsel and, where required, Notified Bodies.

Currency of regulatory content

Regulatory citations, templates, and obligation mappings are maintained on a best-efforts basis against published EU and national guidance. We do not warrant that any specific Article, Recital, guideline, or mapping reflects the most current state of the law — including national implementing measures — at the time of your use.
