First 6 months on us, then 6 months at 50% off.
For every startup we can verify — whatever the stage, whatever the funding.
- Any stage: an idea with a founder, a prototype, a product with customers.
- Any funding: bootstrapped, grant-funded, angel or venture-backed — we do not ask.
- A new company: registered in the last 18 months, or not registered yet.
- Fewer than 50 people, founders included.
- Independent: not a subsidiary of a larger group.
- Months 1 to 6: free. Months 7 to 12: 50% off.
- For the self-serve plans — Starter, Govern and Manage — on monthly billing. Enterprise is quoted separately.
- The months start when your paid subscription starts. Veritome is in a free public beta until our full launch, planned for late November 2026; nothing is charged before then, so the beta does not use up the offer.
- From month 13, the plan's normal price — or the founding rate, 30% off for life, if your organisation joined before our full launch. The two do not apply at the same time.
- The offer takes the place of the standard trial. Add-ons and extra high-risk systems are charged at their normal price.
- One offer per company, for a company new to a paid Veritome plan. A person reviews each application and may ask a follow-up question.
Building an AI product of your own? You are probably its provider, and the heaviest duties land on you first.

Compliance that grows with the company.
Three startups, three starting points.
Two founders, not yet registered, using generative tools to build a prototype.
- Apply with a founder profile; no company number needed yet.
- Each tool goes on the register in a couple of minutes.
- Most land in limited or minimal risk: Article 4 literacy and, if what they build talks to people, the Article 50(1) disclosure.
- When the company is registered, the record carries straight over.
13 obligations apply to a deployer of a high-risk system.
A seed-stage SaaS shipping a scoring feature to customers in the EU.
- The classification tests whether the feature falls under Annex III and whether you are its provider.
- The provider obligations land across the six gated stages.
- The Annex IV technical file assembles from the work as you do it.
- The dossier's verify link goes in the data room before the round closes.
A bootstrapped agency of nine people using AI tools on client work.
- Every tool classified as a deployer system, with the article behind each answer.
- Where the agency publishes deepfake images, audio or video, the Article 50(4) disclosure is drafted.
- Academy courses give each person a record of completion for Article 4.
- The free months cover the set-up; the register stays current after.

Questions founders ask
Who counts as a startup?
Any independent company registered in the last 18 months, or not registered yet, with fewer than 50 people. Stage and funding do not matter: a bootstrapped two-person company qualifies exactly as a venture-backed one does.
What do you need from us to approve the application?
Your company registration number and the month you registered, which we check against the public company register. If you have not registered the company yet, a founder's LinkedIn or other public profile instead. No pitch deck, no cap table and no proof of funding.
When does the offer start?
When your paid subscription starts. Veritome is in a free public beta until our full launch, planned for late November 2026, and nothing is charged before then — apply now, use the product now, and the 6 free months begin with your first paid month.
Does it combine with the founding rate?
Not at the same time. During the first 12 months the programme applies. From month 13, an organisation that joined before our full launch keeps the founding rate, 30% off for life; any other pays the plan's normal price.
Does the EU AI Act apply to a company this small?
Size does not exempt anyone. If you build an AI product, you are probably its provider and carry the Article 16 duties; if you only use AI tools, you are a deployer, and the Article 4 AI-literacy duty already applies. The free check tells you which, system by system, in a few minutes.
